          8. Human Rights Watch criticises Mr. Harper’s for the inadequate investigation of RCMP abuses of Aboriginal women. By telling victims of repeated police violence to report abuses to the RCMP, Mr. Harper ignored victims’ fears of retaliation.

          9. Mr. Harper cut funding to the Canadian human rights agency International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development (Rights & Democracy), ending international projects that primarily assisted women.
